This creamy, herby dressing was invented at the historic Palace Hotel in San Francisco in the 1920’s in honor of William Archer’s hit play The Green Goddess. It enjoyed great success, especially in California, for decades and, in our opinion, is worth a revival.

Green Goddess Dressing

This green goddess salad dressing is light and refreshing which contains most of the original ingredients of the classic, sans mayonnaise and anchovies. Sour cream is also replaced with nonfat yogurt. If you have access to fresh tarragon, by all means add a couple of teaspoons.
