Cranberry Yeast Bread


  • 1 cup water + 3 Tbsp -- 70-80 degrees F
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine -- softened
  • 3 tablespoons instant nonfat dry milk powder
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 3 1/2 cups bread flour
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast

  • In bread machine pan, place the first 7 ingredients in order suggested by manufacturer. Select basic bread setting. Choose crust color and loaf size. Bake according to bread machine directions. Just before final kneading (at fruit/nut signal), add cranberries and orange peel.
