Arkansas BBQ Sauce
This is my favorite barbecue sauce. It is a great marinade for poultry, pork or beef. I marinade the meat for an hour before grilling and then baste the meat once or twice while cooking. This sauce is spicy so go easy on the basting.
Ingredients
- 1 quart Ketchup
- 1-1/2 cups Mustard yellow
- 1-1/2 cups Worcestershire Sauce
- 1-1/2 cups Sugar Brown
- 2 quarts Water
- 1-1/2 cups Salt
- 1 quart Wine table white
- 3 quarts Red Wine Vinegar
- 1/2 cup Red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup Pepper
Instructions
- Bring to boil and then simmer for about 1/2 hour. Do not cook or store in aluminum store in glass. Does not need refrigerated.
