1. Cream together all ingredients except pecans. 2. Form dough into 12 inch long roll, wrap in wax paper, refrigerate overnight. 3. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). 4. Slice dough into 1/4 inch slices. Place slices on greased cookie sheet. Top each cookie with a pecan half (optional) and bake 10 minutes.
