Red Barbecue Sauce
2 Tbsp butter
1 cup onion, minced
1 Tbsp garlic, minced
1/2 cup sour mash bourbon
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
2 Tbsp lemon juice
2 Tbsp canned chipotle peppers, diced
1 Tbsp adobo sauce (from peppers)
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp Dijon mustard
Saute onion and garlic until golden in butter. Then add bourbon and Reduce by Half. Cook for 30 Minutes at Medium-low Heat.
