Mint Juleps

Ingredients:
  • 2 oz 100 Proof Bourbon
  • 1.5 oz Chilled Mint Simple Syrup
  • 4 or 5 Fresh Mint Sprigs (don't stir or shake)
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 handsful fresh mint sprigs
Syrup:
Combine sugar with water in a 2-quart saucepan. Add enough mint to fill pan loosely. Boil 5 or 6 minutes, or until liquid turns green. Strain syrup and pour into bottle for future use. Chill

Serve in a Mint Julep Glass with Crushed Ice, Garnish with Oranage and Cherry and One Sprig of Mint.
