Description
This is a big hit during the cold winter months. I like to make this in a large crock pot and add more cider as needed. The spices in this recipe can be replaced with a 1/4th cup of these Mulling Spices.
Ingredients
-
16 cups apple cider
-
1/2 cup light brown sugar
-
1 cinnamon stick, broken into small chunks
-
24 whole cloves
-
2 teaspoons allspice
Instructions
Combine cinnamon, whole cloves, allspice in cheesecloth tied or a large tea ball. Combine cider, sugar and spices in a saucepan or crock pot. Simmer for 20 minutes. Serve hot.
