Amish Sugar Cookies August 17, 2009

Ingredients

• 1 tsp vanilla
• 2 eggs
• 1 cup oil
• 1 cup butter
• 1 cup powdered sugar
• 1 cup sugar
• 4 1/2 cups flour
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp cream of tartar
• 1 tsp salt

Instructions

1. Blend all ingredients together, chill. With floured hands, shape into balls and place on cookie sheet, flatten with bottom of chilled glass dipped in sugar. Sprinkle with colored sugar. Bake 350° F until edges are golden.
